32 ISP Schools Represented in Men's Basketball Post Season
03.15.10
Thirty-two ISP partner universities, more than half of ISP’s industry leading 53 university partners, are participating in college basketball’s four post-season men’s tournaments. Twenty-one of the 32 ISP partners will be participating in the NCAA Tournament.
ISP has two representatives among the four number-one seeds in the NCAA Tournament as Duke is the top seed in the South and Syracuse is the number-one seed in the West. Four other ISP partners garnered high seeds in the tournament as Villanova is a two-seed, Baylor and Pittsburgh are three-seeds, and Vanderbilt is a four-seed.
Despite ISP participating schools representing nearly 33% of the field, amazingly none will face each other in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Seven ISP partners have been invited to participate in the National Invitational Tournament (NIT), with Virginia Tech and Arizona State tabbed as number-one seeds. ISP has three schools in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) and one school in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI), respectively.
