ISP will consult with and advise the Conference office and its member institutions in the areas of sales and sponsorships, as well as provide revenue analysis and development of a comprehensive revenue generation plan. In addition, ISP will conduct sales training for each institution, including a group training session for institutional representatives. The Conference and its members will receive access to ISP’s national sales network, recognition on the ISP website and other promotional channels, as well as ISP’s Sales Training Academies.
“The Big South Conference and its members are very excited to partner with ISP Sports,” remarked Kallander. “ISP brings tremendous expertise in collegiate marketing and will be a significant asset for Big South institutions. This relationship will enable us to enhance our revenue generation capability which, as we all know, is of paramount importance.”
“We are very pleased to be working with the Big South Conference on the project,” says Jerry Reckerd, Vice President and Executive Director of ISP’s Collegiate Services Division. “We have the utmost respect for Commissioner Kallander, his staff and their member institutions. We appreciate their confidence in our company and look forward to contributing to the success of the Conference.”
As part of the agreement, the Conference office and Big South members will receive evaluations on current sponsorship efforts and be provided strategies for asset pricing, package development, prospect identification, asset improvement and skill analysis. ISP will also provide Athletic Department management with activity and revenue pacing tools that will identify both performance success and areas of improvement. ISP will also assist with presentations, proposals and market research specific to university and corporate partners, and will work with each school to provide a comprehensive corporate sponsorship marketing plan and a timetable with action items for each school.
