ACC ISP National Radio Network Announces Schedule

07.26.10

GREENSBORO, NC – The ACC ISP Sports National Radio Network opens its fifth season on September 6th when Maryland and Navy meet in a special Labor Day holiday contest at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.  Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.

That game is the first of 14 broadcasts on the ACC network which is produced by ISP, the nation’s premier collegiate sports marketing and radio management company.  The schedule, which was announced here at the 2010 ACC Football Kickoff, features 12 conference matchups, culminated by the ACC Championship Game from Charlotte on December 4th.  Eleven conference teams are assured of at least one appearance in this year’s package.

After 2010’s opening contest between the Terrapins and Midshipmen, the network will feature an exciting doubleheader on September 18th when defending league champion Georgia Tech visits North Carolina in a noon kickoff, followed by Duke hosting last year’s national champ Alabama at 3:30 p.m.

The remaining broadcast schedule provides a full slate of ACC matchups, including a pair of Thursday night contests – Florida State at NC State on October 28th, and Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech on November 4th.  The regular season schedule concludes with a special November 27th “Flex Week” when a contest of primary national interest will be carried.  The game featured that day will be announced later in the season.

Affiliate stations for individual broadcasts on the ACC ISP Network are determined depending upon game times, previous station commitments and blackout restrictions protecting ACC member school networks.  The list of affiliates carrying one or more games in 2009 included more than 100 stations representing 30-plus states and eight of the top 10 markets (and 18 of the top 25) in the country.  Most games are carried on SIRIUS XM Radio as well.
