Houston ISP Network Analyst Honored by Alma Mater

06.04.08

Record-breaking Houston quarterback David Klingler, a member of the ISP Sports Network broadcast team, will be honored by the University with induction into the UH Hall of Honor this fall along with eight other former Cougar standouts and one of the school's most memorable teams.
Klingler set more than 50 NCAA records during his two years as the starting signal-caller for the Cougars in 1990 and 1991.  His 9,430 passing yards and 91 touchdown passes are still school career bests.
A first-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, Klingler played six seasons in the NFL.  He will again serve as a color analyst for the Houston ISP Sports Network during the upcoming 2008 season.
