Gamecock Sports Properties to Manage and Operate Spurrier Website, SpurrierHBC.com

Columbia, S.C. – University of South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier and Gamecock Sports Properties, LLC (GSP), a joint venture of ISP Sports and Learfield Sports, have announced a partnership for GSP to manage the “Head Ball Coach’s” official website, SpurrierHBC.com.
The subscription-based website features the latest news from Spurrier as well as behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, blogs and photos. The site also offers Video Playbook and Ask the HBC. With these options, subscribers can watch coaches break down plays and ask Coach Spurrier questions.
The site will be hosted by View Digital Media.
“I am excited to partner with Gamecock Sports Properties on my official website,” said Spurrier. “In working with them on my coach’s shows and through other events, I have seen firsthand their ability to manage projects that are really entertaining for fans.”

The 2008-09 subscription is $49.95 per year or $4.95 per month. Annual subscribers who signed up during the 2007-08 academic year will receive free access to the site in 2008-09 and those who signed up on or after Jan. 1, 2008 will receive free access through Sept. 30, 2008.
The site was launched in the summer of 2007 by Spurrier and Greenville-based Champion Technologies. Spurrier asked GSP, the exclusive multi-media rights holder for the USC athletic department, to manage the site after Champion ceased operations in February.
