The University of North Carolina Greensboro Department of Athletics has reached an agreement with ISP Sports, the country’s foremost collegiate sports marketing company, to provide revenue consulting services and serve as the exclusive national marketer for the Spartans, school officials have announced.
With the partnership, ISP will work with the Department of Athletics’ staff to market a variety of corporate sponsorship opportunities involving Spartan Athletics, including live play-by-play game radio broadcasts and call-in shows, various athletic department publications, signage in on-campus facilities, corporate hospitality events and the official website of the department, www.uncgspartans.com.
“We are thrilled to partner with ISP,” UNCG Director of Athletics Nelson Bobb said. “ISP is a first-class organization recognized as the best in the industry and headquartered right here in the Triad. Our partnership will enhance and strengthen our corporate sponsorship relationships and elevate Spartan Athletics’ marketing and multimedia presence on a local, regional and national basis. We look forward to the years ahead and growing our partnership.”
Based in Winston-Salem, NC, ISP Sports is the multi-media rights holder for more than 60 nationally recognized college athletic programs, as well as five major conferences and two postseason bowl games.
“ISP is pleased to become part of the vision that Chancellor Brady has for the University.” Ben Sutton, President and CEO of ISP Sports, says. “We are excited to have the opportunity to help build a more efficient and productive sales and marketing program for Spartan Athletics and look forward to this new relationship. It is especially gratifying to us since the Triad is our home as well”.
